Community Reviews
good experience
reviewed on: 12/30/2014 by AnonymousThey could be better about giving information to new residents to help them get acclimated to the place and the process. I suggest having some sort of welcome packet that explains the basics of what residents and their families need to know going in. Other than that it has been a really good experience. They have given my mom excellent care.
A great community for a loved one
reviewed on: 02/09/2021 by Elaine HThe one time we were able to visit the community is when we moved our loved one in and the place seemed fun, clean and nice. The staff members are perfect we have great communication with all of them and we are very happy with the care services. When it comes to the activities they do try their best to keep them busy and we think the value is worth it.
Mixed feelings
reviewed on: 08/03/2021 by anonymousThere are a lot of things about the facility we like and my dad is happy here. The facility itself is very clean. One that that really upset me is that if your loved one has to go to the hospital, they send them to Kingwood. So if you have a preference on hospital, they will not accommodate that.
A small personable community!
reviewed on: 11/09/2016 by AnonymousThey serve food between 4:30 and 6:00. If you go down after 5:00 they seem to always be out of food. The food is not good. The caregivers that work with my mom are very good. They know her by name and are personable. I am not happy with the administrative staff. They have a reasonable amount of activities, however I think they could do a little more. They do have nice music activities.
"Social Assisted Living"
reviewed on: 08/05/2013 by DaughterMy father wanted to move closer to me in Kingwood so we chose Atria and I kept asking them if they wanted to an assessment and they would say that they'll do it when he gets here. Well when he got here they said his level of care was something that they just didn't do - so then I had to find a place! They said they're more of a "social assisted living" so they're assisted but not to the level that my dad needed.
