Our House Wisconsin Rapids, WI tour
reviewed on: 02/01/2017 by LCI toured this community. I was able to get questions answered by the care that is given. I think it could be cleaner. The residents did not look like some of there personal needs were always taken care of. It did have a small odor and they can make some improvements. I would suggest families take a tour of this community for care.

They do a very good job with keeping everything very well maintained. At the moment they are working to improve the activities program. She is very pleased with the meals, the food is very good. I know she is safe, and being cared for very well. I would highly recommend this community, it is a great place,
Frustrated by the poor communication
reviewed on: 02/27/2020 by Mr. and Mrs. PupungatoaI decided to put down a deposit for a room for my mom in early Nov. I was told a possible opening would happen within 2 to 4 weeks. I never heard back from Our House. I called several times but none of my calls were returned. In January, I decided due to the poor communication I would ask for a return of my $500 deposit check. It took several phone calls and messages to finally get in contact with the House Manager. It took several more weeks to get my deposit back. It came back in the form of a company check. A few days after depositing it I was informed by my bank that the check was no good the account it came from was blocked and I was charged $10 for the returned check. I called Our House and they apologized and said they would check into it and get back to me. I called last Friday and still have not heard back. I just called again today, Thursday. I am so frustrated with Our House and the poor communication and accounting. I feel that we are fortunate that I did not place my mom in Our House.
