reviewed on: 05/05/2018 by Jeffery GraffPinecrest of Lake Geneva is a small, out of the way assisted living center and as one examines the property they'd find it to be "adequate" or better. The meals are wonderful, special needs and desires are accommodated, and the furnishings comfortable. All of that says precious little. This is a staff that loves the residents. They don't become clients - they become family. The staff is friendly and they took outstanding care of our mother until she passed in comfort peacefully. I gladly get Pinecrest my highest and most enthusiastic endorsement.

reviewed on: 12/26/2012 by A Place For Mom CustomerVery small CBRF facility, 12 rooms. LeRae (CNA) gave me a tour. Two common living room areas, one with a fireplace. Food pantry is on corner, restaurant/bar is in back of facility. Rooms are quite small, only room for bed, night table, small chair, TV stand; bathroom is stool/sink only. Closet is large (small walkin) with cupboard/shelving on one side. Have 2 common showers. A stylist comes in periodically. One of the CNAs does all the ladies nails once a week. Staff does cares, cooking, cleaning. Room cleaned 1 x/week and as needed....vac room floors everyday. Needs own furniture. Linens provided (towels daily). Encourage activities. Do "PT" and some ROM on residents daily. Admin brings her dogs in daily. Very small deck on one end of building can sit outside. Opposite end has a bit bigger deck with raised garden beds. Residents can do the gardening. All meds are locked up. Will do hospice; recommend Odyssey vs. Hospice. Will do bed checks, take pts to bathroom as needed during the night.

reviewed on: 11/06/2013 by DaughterThat one would have been okay but it was in Lake Geneva. I needed my mom to be close to me where I live, not where I work. It's like a home that's been remodeled and for there she just would have had a room. They do provide your meals and whatever else you need but where she is now she has her own apartment and she's doing well in that setting.
