My Review of Heatherwoood Assisted Living and Memory Care
reviewed on: 11/02/2021 by Mark LFantastic facility-my mother moved into HW and it was one of the best decision she's ever made. They refer to the residents as "family" and it truly feels that way. The place is always immaculate and well decorated. I was extremely involved in my mom's time at HW and am fully aware of how they work. I can't recommend Heatherwood high enough. Great people-great place.

They make their food from scratch and have a beautiful garden. I would highly recommend taking a tour for your loved one.
Seems Like Home
reviewed on: 10/15/2019 by JaneMy mother has been living at HeatherWood for almost 4 years, and things there just seem to improve over time. The new management team in place is incredible, and all are caring and compassionate individuals. The facility has a nice mix of activities and my mother has the option of participating or not - sometimes she likes the socialization and sometimes she enjoys her solitude. They have a program in place with our public library where a volunteer will select books based on my mom's interests and they are delivered (and picked up) on a regular basis. She is a big reader and this has meant a lot to her. Overall, she has found the food to be very good. The staff is quick to let me know when my mom has a health issue, and I have been very appreciative of that fact - I can't be there every day and sometimes things occur in a hurry! My family is just very grateful that we were able to find a facility that seems like home.
They are just very caring

Our loved one came to them very sick and now she is doing much better, Her health is under control and the staff members are just very caring. The activities are no longer limited, and the residents have just been given the go ahead to stop wearing their masks in the building. It has a homey like, warm and welcoming feeling.
A tour for care
reviewed on: 02/01/2017 by AnonymousI toured this community for care for my mom. The staff was very nice. The garden is beautiful. They had a good variety of activities. It is a clean community and very nice. I would recommend a tour for other families to see the nice care and community.
