Current Resident of FCI
reviewed on: 10/04/2019 by Louise BI am a resident of First Colonial Inn for 3 plus years. Am I content and satisfied with my decision to move to FCI? Yes! Yes! Yes! The fellow residents are friendly and helpful, willing to share memories, listen to your stories. The associates go beyond their duties, will cheer you up if it is a “down” day or try to help you see the “good” side of life. It is important that all the associates know your name. The dining room servers are polite, patient, considerate, often knowing your wants before you order.
Review of First Colonial Inn
reviewed on: 10/16/2020 by Harold S.I want to express my appreciation and thanks to all of the staff for the services rendered to us residents during this unsettling time brought on by the pandemic. All of you have had extra work in controlling entrance to the facility, serving meals, delivering mail and performing temperature checks daily with friendly greetings and smiles. It is evident that you have been concerned with our welfare and safety and we should all be appreciative. KUDOS to all!
Review of First Colonial Inn
reviewed on: 10/15/2020 by Carolyn PTo every staff member in every position: Thank you for your expert care of all the residents, especially [name removed]! I know you have worked hard during this difficult time. From a hello, to a smile, a touch, a few minutes to listen, you will probably never know how much it meant to that one resident. My prayer is for God's love and strength to surround you with comfort and guide you to take one day at a time. God bless and keep you all!
Amazing and Caring Staff at First Colonial Inn
reviewed on: 11/13/2021 by Renee SRelocating my 90-year-old mother from her home of close to 40 years was stressful and emotional for mom and me. The staff at made the move and transition easy, especially since I live out of state. The Senior Sales Director was awesome. I had to buy new furniture for mom and she helped me with measurements and furniture ideas since I live out of town. I spent the first day with the maintenance staff. They helped with the move in, hung TVs, put up a head board, offered to hang pictures and were there to do anything we needed. The Resident Relations Director, made mom feel at home. It is obvious she cares about the health, happiness and wellbeing of the residents. The staff in general are friendly and caring. The on-site hairdresser is a doll. Mom had her hair cut and colored. The hairdresser texted me a picture to show me how good mom looks. The grounds are gorgeous and the dog friendly environment is a bonus. I made the right decision choosing First Colonial Inn for my mother.
