Had a pleasant experience
reviewed on: 11/11/2021 by Leslie MI recently attended one of their events called "Fall Festival", at first I thought I would only stay for 20-30 minutes since it was going to be cold outside. But once I got there and heard the performer singing and drank some hot apple cider I didn't want to leave! Then they came around with the food!! Pretzel bite with beer cheese, apple dumplings and funnel cake fries!! I was so glad I came to the event, as soon as my parents are ready to move I am going to tell them they need to move here!
Resident safety is top priority
reviewed on: 09/08/2021 by John TuckerI recently just came to visit my father in law here and was very impressed with how they were protecting everyone from COVID. While I know that the threat is "over" to some people there is a new strain going around and it is just as deadly. I thin the masks are annoying but I appreciate the staff there doing everything they can to make sure my loved one stays safe and healthy.

reviewed on: 09/03/2021 by Walter S.I just recently toured this community and it was a very nice experience. My wife and I are looking for independent living for my mother-in-law, we wanted a building that also had assisted living for the future if necessary and this place does. If she ends up needing more care, she gets to stay in that same apartment too! They have nursing staff on site 24/7 which helped put my wife at ease that someone will always be there to check on her. They offer a lot amenities at no additional charge for assisted living like weekly housekeeping and laundry which also means less work for my mother in law. The have a really nice outdoor gazebo which is perfect for the weather we have been having. It's a very nice place that is well maintained.
Lots of things to do!
reviewed on: 10/13/2021 by AmyThe Barrington at Hioaks always has such an eventful activity calendar, there is no time to be bored because there is always something to do! I really like their university classes that they have, it allows people to continue learning no matter their age! They have all kinds of cool partnerships with different museums and colleges!
