Active retirement living is so much more than a place to stay. It's a place to take part, a place to belong. Our Life Engagement program is designed to promote resident wellness and independence while utilizing and valuing residents' strengths and successes within an environment that celebrates normalization, choice, empowerment and validation. What you like to do, where you like to go, who you want to visit and much more. Here at Elk Meadows, our mission is to help you enjoy the things you love and have more time for them. The Barn and Chapel comprise nearly 3,000 square feet and form the very heart of Elk Meadows. In addition to hosting recreational activities for our residents, the barn serves as a community reception center designed for a wide variety of activities and programs. The barn is complete with a pottery wheel, piano, kiln and fully equipped kitchen. Community groups such as senior groups, health fairs, receptions, weddings and nearly any public or private gathering can be hosted here. Each year, Elk Meadows hosts a Thanksgiving and Christmas Dinner for residents and their family members. The barn also hosts our Fourth of July BBQ for residents and family members just after the parade that runs right out front of our building. Crafted from Field Stone quarried nearby, our beautiful non-denominational rock chapel provides a quiet, peaceful environment for reflection and spiritual growth. We offer LDS services at 10 am every Sunday morning as well as a Catholic service that afternoon and a non-denominational devotional twice per week. -

Community Reviews
Lovely Place
reviewed on: 10/12/2018 by AnonymousThe Activities Director, Makaila, is so fun and outgoing. She really makes a difference on a daily basis. I’ve never known an assisted living community to do so many fun things. This month, a group went out to visit Llamas on a farm. A few days later, horses came into the building to visit the residents. The Executive Director, Trent, is compassionate and you can tell he just wants the best for his residents. The location is lovely, the views out the lofted windows are beautiful. Peaceful and serenity, a good place to be...
A great facility.
reviewed on: 03/02/2016 by AnonymousThankfully we only needed to place my mother in law at Elk Meadows while we did some remodeling to her home. She is back home and very comfortable. Her experience at Elk Meadows was a very positive one! While she was there she really enjoyed their exercise program and the food was okay. The staff were very friendly and helpful! I feel like this a great place for seniors with a variety of needs!
Lovely Community
reviewed on: 07/12/2016 by AnonymousIt's an older facility and it's huge and the people are very lovely and warm. I felt that it needed to more clean. They do have great activities and the settings is great. The scenario is very beautiful, there are acres around the community!
Horrible
reviewed on: 04/11/2019 by KellyThis place was horrible! The food was always cold, burnt, or late. Call light sometimes took 2 hours to be answered. Low staffed always!!!!!! the staff run all the time, because it may be only 2 people there in the evening total. The rugs never get cleaned, nor the bathrooms. My mom wanted to stay close to home so we did not move her. But she suffered greatly for it and so did we. The place had 3 ED's in one year. No one wants to stay! I would never recommend Elk Meadows, its worth the drive to find a quality facility that can pass a state survey.
