My Visit To The Community

This community seemed clean. The marketing director that took us on tour was nice and knowledgable. They were remodeling the community, however it did feel like an office building.

Elegant Care

We toured this elegant community for the care for my mom. The staff was nice and helpful to answer the questions that we needed for the care for my mom. The rooms are small but very homey. They offer outings for the residents. This is a little more for the care, but very nice. for a loved one to enjoy due to everything that is offered for the care and the value.

I highly recommend the Heritage at Hunters Chase

We are very happy with the Heritage at Hunters Chase. My father has lived there for more than a year and has had a great experience. His first assisted living facility was a good place but it was too far away from central Austin and unnecessarily expensive. I really like the location of the Heritage at Hunters Chase. The staff at Hunter’s Chase have been great. They are very kind and helpful. My Dad is mobility impaired and requires help with bathing and they have done a great job. My father underwent a physically challenging medical operation last summer. The Heritage helped him through this transition and now he is handling his own care with his new condition. They are doing the best that they can regarding the spread of the corona virus and that is critically important. Dad used to say at his first assisted living facility that the women ran the place. He may not have participated in some of the activities as a result of his feeling. I guess men can feel a little in the minority at places like this, but he does not have that feeling anymore at the Heritage.

Would highly recommend

Our loved one has really complimented the food and we have been impressed with the quality of service at the front desk as well as the people coming through our loved ones room. We can really tell the client care is at a high priority which we really appreciate.

Good Place... I'd recommend it easily

It took most of my late mother's last months to educate ourselves on Heritage's limitations after getting so much sunshine blown up our skirts. Once Mom had died, we left wondering why we didn't learn all those important facts about Care, Legal Limits, etc, long before those last 8 or 10 weeks of her life. Staff & Leadership seemed content to spew acronyms and vague legal precedents to us as reasons for their demands or not-doings. These are still problematic, months later, only because their solution to OUR problems seem like easy but complete conversation. Other than that nagging issue, the director of their Memory Care unit remains an outstanding worker in our opinion, who seemed to continuously give so much of her energies and creativity into the care for everyone in her charge. Her staff probably could not live up to that high standard, by the way, but they were more-than-adequate.
