Love my new life!
reviewed on: 03/25/2021 by Lorraine RI was a little apprehensive about moving from Pennsylvania to Myrtle Beach until my children introduced me to Brightwater Retirement Community. Once I saw the beautiful setting and surroundings, I was anxious to see the villa. I could not have wished for more. The villa has everything I want or need and is so conducive to how I want to live. A light and airy atmosphere with plenty of windows, lovely living room, nice workable kitchen with all new appliances, great laundry room with plenty of storage. A wonderful bedroom with a walk-in closet and a good size bathroom with a tile shower.
Our opinion of the Brightwater community
reviewed on: 04/24/2015 by Donald KeiserBrightwater is a first class community! We were wonderfully informed about all that is available to us there by Melinda and Alice who are wonderful ambassadors for Brightwater. Every aspect of senior living has been well thought out and provided.
Review of Brightwater
reviewed on: 09/18/2019 by Bell LittleI have lived at Brightwater for two years in a one-bedroom villa. I saw it from 31 and liked how it looked. I participate in activities and love the wellness classes. I like stretch and breathe, CLIMB. I like the variety of dining that is provided. The staff and maintenance are wonderful. I enjoy not having to cook, clean, or fix/repair things.
Brightwater is a Top Notch Senior Living Environment!
reviewed on: 03/13/2021 by Susan BNana transferred from the hospital to Rehab into assisted living just as COVID-19 closed everything down. It is so helpful getting calls from her caregivers keeping us posted on how she is doing and sharing what personal items she needs. Nana says the food is delicious and enjoys interacting with all her caregivers and therapists. Now that the weather is warming up she enjoys sitting in the beautiful screened in porch and taking walks throughout the property with the help of caregivers. Nana is sleeping better, eating healthier and taking her medications as prescribed. She has her hair “done” weekly now that the salon has reopened. The staff has worked tirelessly setting up window and video visits. They decorated the outside of her window, and brought the cake we delivered to her room as we celebrated her 91st birthday through the window! As hurricane season nears, we are happy to know Nana has the choice to stay at Brightwater during category 1, 2,3 and 4 hurricanes.
