Happy in Retirement
reviewed on: 09/03/2020 by Golden Girl KayI moved from Long Island to Brightwater two years ago and became part of the Golden Girls group. I chose Myrtle Beach because my son is going to retire in the area. My villa includes a patio that gives me an outdoor space of my own that allows me to garden with my potted flowers and sit outside. Walking the property with the beautiful gardens & flowers is part of my daily routine and the outdoor pool gives me another form of enjoyable exercise. I can sleep in and relax after working all my life for the school system. I like BINGO, arts & crafts and the Travel the World Snack Crate, Tracy does an amazing job. I liked being pampered with meal delivery during the COVID restrictions and am glad that I can have dinner with my friends in the dining room again. Transportation will take us wherever we need to go, so I don’t need a car.
Great activities, great employees and a wonderful facility.
reviewed on: 03/02/2020 by JimI am a minister in the Myrtle Beach area. I have been to a lot of the senior communities in the area. My favorite is Brightwater. I am always greeted by a warm, inviting employee and they work to answer my questions about room numbers and where best to find my friends. I love the Activity teams and all that is going on. Can't wait to retire.
Happiness from Flowers
reviewed on: 07/24/2020 by Harriet's FlowersI have enjoyed the lifestyle services at Brightwater for 6 years and everyone has been so friendly from day one. The most wonderful staff work here, and they are always happy to do their best to take care of us. I have my own garden plot to grow flowers so I can share happiness with others. Dining did a great job delivering our meals during the COVID restrictions.

Review of Brightwater
reviewed on: 09/18/2019 by Clara M WilsonIt is great not to have to deal with plumbers, roofers, electricians, etc. There are great wellness classes to keep you moving and activities to go to for entertainment. It is also great not to have to cook or clean up often.
