It is great not to have to deal with plumbers, roofers, electricians, etc. There are great wellness classes to keep you moving and activities to go to for entertainment. It is also great not to have to cook or clean up often.

I have lived at Brightwater for 5 years and everyone is so friendly. The smiling staff takes very good care of us especially during the Covid19 restrictions and we are safe. The dining staff delivered food to my door timely and the choices were mine to make. My daughter came for a tent talk visit and it was a lovely time. I miss the entertainment & lectures and am looking forward to them coming back.

I moved here in October and was dealing with a health issue that kept me in my villa. Once I was feeling better in March and I started to participate with wellness & social activities the COVID19 stopped the regular schedules. Wellness & Activities have gotten very creative during this time to keep us active & engaged. They are helping us order groceries online and the Brightwater drivers are picking them up and deliver them directly to my villa. We are not able to eat in the dining during these restrictions, so the servers are delivering our meals with a smile and a surprise. I am looking forward to returning to “Normal” and getting to spend time with my family & friends again. All of our needs are being met without our health being jeopardized.

My wife & I moved into Brightwater with our little dog, Nora. Our neighbors are friendly and the community is pet friendly. Several of our previous neighbors are already living at Brightwater. Rejuenate Salon is convenient being on site, and Mona is great with hair & nails. My wife loves the chicken quesadillas and all the shrimp dishes that are offered in the dining room. I am happy that I can order what I like from the menus and specials. Our move in experience with HTC was positive and maintenance takes care of everything else. It's hard to remember that I don't have to do the maintenance anymore.

Great place for a senior to live and enjoy life

My Aunt’s experiences at Brightwater are always pleasurable. The facilities at Brightwater are meticulously maintained and the staff is always nice, friendly, and willing to provide any assistance that may be needed. Before moving to Brightwater my aunt had been living all along in her home of 30 years in Little River, South Carolina. She had been reluctant to sell the house that her and her late husband had called home. After moving into Brightwater, it was as if a new wave of emergency and happiness had come upon her. She started making new friends and attending the regular social events planned by Brightwater. Additionally, she was able to enjoy her meals in the company of other lady friends she had made at Brightwater; instead of eating all along in her home. Brightwater provides shuttle service to her doctor’s appointments, and any prescriptions that are needed are either picked up by the Brightwater staff, or delivered to the front desk. When my Aunt and I reminisce about the past and her decision to move to Brightwater, we both always say the same thing; it was the best decision she had made.
