reviewed on: 12/30/2012 by A Place For Mom CustomerWas a very nice looking facility. Staff very friendly and helpful. Attentive to emergency paging of residents. Director did a good job explaining everything about the facility and paperwork involved. Gave a nice tour. Lots of activities. The only con I had with it was the smell. Otherwise a great place to put on our list.
Now, I can sleep soundly at night!
reviewed on: 10/30/2015 by AnonymousSince my family is all over the US, i've toured assisted living facilities in 4 states. I can comfortably say that Elmcroft was a excellent choice for my parent to start their next journey in life. Everything has been a POSITIVE experience, from the initial contact with Lisa to the day of move-in with the head of maintenance helping to adjust their bed to the right height. The dining staff has easily learned what the like and dislike. The nursing & aid staff have understood their individual needs and accommodated all requests.

Feedback Review for Elmcroft of State College
reviewed on: 05/14/2021 by BarbaraWe appreciate the good work of the staff, their caring nature and taking care of our mom. A special shout-out to Alisha for her communication and taking care of my mom. I know she really appreciates the attention she receives from Alisha as well as everyone else. My sister and I live far away in Boston, and it's reassuring to know that our mom gets a lot of care, attention, and interaction with staff. Thanks to the staff for the great work they do. I think it is really hard work. The What's App calls are a great lifeline. I will say my mom isn't wild about the meals. I didn't review this as I don't have any personal knowledge, just what she tells us. And, there are times we don't get a response to questions we email.
