Above my expectations in all manners!!!
reviewed on: 08/08/2016 by Chris MoralesIt is difficult to find quality affordable care for a loved one suffering from dementia. I moved my father here due to Dementia. I thought I was getting an ulcer from the worry of moving him out of his home of 55 years.Next step the warm welcome and great care he is received, my father transitioned far better than I could have imagined. With in a day every staff member calls my dad by his fist name. They all encouraged him to get involved with other peoples and with in a days my father who was a very introvert and shy person started hanging out with and cracking jokes with other residents at facility. all staff members were very friendly and enthusiastic. he was getting 3 delicious meals a day. My father has made many new friends and is engaged in many activities.Eventually his condition got worse and I had to transfer him to nursing home. he is still struggling but I must say if he was able to live a independent life than I would have chosen only one place and that is Comfort care.I really appreciate the care that my dad received and I will always be grateful to comfort care.

reviewed on: 08/08/2016 by GregAs a current resident of Comfort care, I must say that I am extremely satisfied with the kind of services and care I am receiving from comfort care. Before coming to comfort care I tried 3 different facilities but didn't like any of them . I am the resident of comfort care since 2012 . we have a delicious food, very spacious private rooms and friendly care givers . I think thatch all that matters for me. we have few activities but that's ok with me I don't need much of an activities at this age.I will recommend this facility to anyone who is looking for personal care home in Gettysburg area. Gettysburg is just 7 miles from this place so once a while I go for shopping and rest of the time have my peace of mind here.
Beautiful facility, Very caring staff...
reviewed on: 08/04/2016 by HeatherWe have a uncle who needed the respite care as hospital was not able to allow us to take him home so we were looking for the facility where he don't feel like he is away from home . there are very few options nearby Gettysburg who provides a respite care.we tried and visit some facilities but they were very big and we personally not preferred because in most of the big facilities sometimes resident's needs get ignored. so we kept looking and found out there is a facility named comfort care which we never heard before is in Fairefield , very short distance from Gettysburg so we went there and it was just amazing. just the right place what we were looking for uncle. Not big, very friendly people, very clean, amazing food and the kind of the care and attention toward every resident was just impressive so we made up our mind to choose comfort care for our uncle, he stayed there for about 30 days as he was only looking for respite care and ever since he came back from facility he till this date giving us a hard time by saying all time that you guys are not taking care of me like those people did which is kind of funny. Long story short if you are looking for a personal care home which can make you feel like you are at home by taking cares of all your ADLS and medications than Comfort care is the place. Five star!!!!
Home away from home.
reviewed on: 08/04/2016 by ElsieI am living at Comfort care since 2012 and I must say Comfort care has successfully created a family-like community. The facility is immaculate. The food is nutritious, appetizing and diverse. The care givers are ever compassionate and saintly patient. The residents are well attended, engaged by a variety of activities, and loved like family.I'm confident you won't regret considering them to assist you in meeting a loved one's needs.
