Community Reviews
Our New Home
reviewed on: 07/17/2020 by AnonymousMy husband and I have been enjoying independent living here for almost 10 months and enjoy this small, intimate community of caring residents and staff. It’s been so easy to make many new friends here among both. Our apartment is comfortably spacious and services have been very good. With the challenges presented by the coronavirus we continue to applaud our staff for keeping all residents safe while keeping our lives and activities as normal as possible. This quiet residence with lovely views, easy access to pleasant walking areas and small town businesses has made retirement transition from home ownership very smooth for us.

Some ups and downs...
reviewed on: 03/27/2017 by AnonymousI wish I could give them 5 stars but there are things they could improve on. There was an incident that just left a very bad taste in our mouth and it is hard to look over. The staff is all friendly and welcoming, but I have noticed that they have a lot of turnover, they are trying to hire new staff and that is not always easy. Also, the food is not as good as other places that we toured. I don't want to sound too negative, they are a good palce but just in need of some improvement. They have a lot of activities available.
Review of Pioneer Village
reviewed on: 11/16/2018 by AnonymousMy dad has lived in Pioneer Village for 5 1/2 years and it's been an awesome and caring community. He began on independent living a few years ago as his needs warranted. It's a comfort for me to know he's so well cared for and safe. The staff is truly wonderful and caring. Gives me peace of mind!
Homeless Newbies
reviewed on: 10/15/2020 by Judith BaalmanOn September 8, 2020, as a result of wildfires in southern Oregon, my 78-year-old handicapped husband and I were homeless. Our home and RV were both totally destroyed and we were heartbroken. Hundreds were displaced in our area and there was a dearth of housing units, particularly ones that were handicap accessible. I happened upon a website called "A Place for Mom", and I entered our information. A short while later I received a call from Tom Cox who doesn't usually work on Sundays, but saw my request and reached out. Long story short, about two weeks later we were able to move in to Pioneer Village. We love our new home! From Tom's initial contact with us, to moving in to our lovely apartment, to enjoying everyday life here--the whole experience is wonderful! The residents are friendly and welcoming, and the staff goes out of its way to help us in any way possible. Oh yes, the housekeeping is great and so is the food! God is so good and we thank Him for helping us find Pioneer Village!
