Mom loves it here
reviewed on: 12/04/2020 by Dan BrownMy Mom has been living there for 5 months now and loves it. The staff and management are excellent, friendly and do an excellent job. They like Mom and make her feel very welcome. She loves the food, great selection and large portions. Her room was refurbished before she moved in and has everything she wants. It is a smaller more personal environment which is exactly what she likes. The manager is excellent very personable and cares about the residents. When Mom is happy we are happy!
Family beware
reviewed on: 09/11/2017 by AnonymousMy mother moved in here in the Winter and the Manager staff were excellent> I was s thrilled. Since change of Management , the place is declining and the old reputation from what i remember 5 years ago when we first looked its heading that direction. Staff don't care anymore nobody laughs the moral seems down and if you walk by its fake or put on, New Manager sits on her phone and doesn't even say hello when you walk in. Food portions are horrible, food itself is horrible. Nursing has major issues shared by a nurse who had to quit because she could not treat residents in manner she has been told to, she values her license. Many residents are afraid to speak up, two told me they are in fear of having nowhere they can afford and use to love the place look forward to everyday. Now they only look forward to weekends when managers are gone and staff somewhat relax. Taking advantage of low income seniors and servicing them with border line neglect if outrageously unjust. I am going to pay the difference and move my mother out to a better place. I caution anyone thinking about this place
Not a nice place
reviewed on: 06/16/2018 by AnonymousMy mother lived here and it was horrible. The building is falling apart, heat often isn't working, elevator breaks a lot, kitchen is always having electrical issues and there always seems to be floods caused by septic blockage. There is no stability with staff, there is always new management and staff which causes constant changes and distrupts the environment. I discussed these issues with management but unfortunately it's always someone new so they always have the excuse they are new. The only positive thing about this place is the nurses, they seem to be the most knowledgeable and are the only reason my mom stayed as long as she did.
