Would recommend
reviewed on: 12/10/2020 by AnonymousWe chose Homestead of Owasso because someone that we knew was here and they were happy with it. They have several room sizes and they seem more than adequate. The best part about the community so far would be the activities director communication. Anything I have questions about she is quick to answer and attentive to our needs. Overall, I would recommend.
Great experience
reviewed on: 04/17/2014 by PeterThe adjustment of my dad to assisted living has been awesome. The people at Homestead are fabulous and make my dad feel cared for and important. I also appreciate the valuable advice I received from A Place for Mom. I heartily recommend anyone going through this process to start with them.
So Far So good
reviewed on: 10/31/2013 by sandy590Got mom moved in and she is happy. I visit nearly everyday and she is dressed, her hair is combed. We had a small issue in the beginning with getting her hearing aide in the correct ear, but now all is good. When I went Monday, someone had curled her hair and painted her nails... a personal touch is always nice. She is in the commons area most days and walks the halls with some of the other ladies.
The Administration and the Experience as a Whole was an 8 month disaster
reviewed on: 03/26/2021 by AnonymousI had a bad experience here. I feel a great deal of pity of the elderly people that feel trapped here. The food is bad, cold for the most part, and amateur cooks. The building was cold all winter long, it seemed the dining room and hallways felt like they had no heat. I had to wear additional layers and this made it more uncomfortable to be in the community. If we would complain about the heat, the staff would say this was because of the heat in the resident's rooms. I wasn't able to leave the community due to the pandemic. My insurance has been messed up due to this community.
