The Best in Grove City
reviewed on: 10/01/2017 by Mrs SampleMoved my mother-in-law to Hoover Haus from another assisted living center in Grove City. Quinten and the staff at Hoover Haus were AMAZING and loved my MIL as if she were family. The center is spacious and homelike and with only 18 or so residents it feels private and quaint. As for the previous comment I felt there was always something to do even if I was a puzzle or card game with the staff. I would recommend Hoover Haus if you're looking for something that feels like home. Not just a business.
Prayer answered by Hoover Haus
reviewed on: 09/25/2020 by Lisa BowmanMy mother lived here for two years and couldn’t think of a better place. It was such a blessing and God send. She was previously In a high rated nursing facility and was miserable and afraid. I knew I had to find another place. I prayed and the Lord picked Hoover Haus! She literally loved the staff and the staff loved her. The owner/staff did everything humanly possible to make sure she was happy and comfortable. Hoover Haus is unlike anything else you are going to get. It has a unique set up with a small family style atmosphere. Her room was warm and inviting and she loved the food! I’m a daughter who loved her mother very much and wanted to make sure she was well taken care of and Hoover Haus fit the Bill! 💜🌸🥰
MOM LOVES IT!!
reviewed on: 09/14/2018 by Dorothy HWow it blows me away to see any negative reviews of this assisted living center. My mom has been there for 3 years and I have had nothing but amazing and loving service. Yes it is a small center but that’s what we love about it. The owner is always avaliable for me and the great thing is I know he cares about his residents like they are his own family. They have recently added an activity person. My mom loves the home cooked meals. It only took a few short months for her to start calling it home. I honestly love everything about Hoover Haus and I would highly recommend it to anyone.
Caring and Respectful
reviewed on: 04/27/2021 by Greg SThere are not enough good things I can say about Hoover Haus. They are top-notch in their care. They treat all their residents with such respect and dignity. They were essential in making my mother's last few months as comfortable and enjoyable as possible considering her failing physical condition. The staff went above and beyond in helping her and providing anything she needed. Our family could not have made it that last few months if it was not for everyone at Hoover Haus. Thank you.
Not As Advertised!
reviewed on: 07/16/2018 by AnonymousPlease do not put your loved one in this place. The owner over promises and under delivers. There is no nurse on staff. There are barely any staff on staff. The building is two floors, with often only 1 employee on staff, sometimes 2 employees, for the entire building (this includes the cook). Meal times are lacking, running out of bead is not uncommon, with Peanut butter and jelly and chips being a lunch time staple during the week often times. There is no nutritionist/nurse on staff to assist your loved one who may require special dietary requirements such as a low sodium or low-sugar diets. If your loved one is a fall risk or requires assistance getting to and from the dining room, there is minimal staff to consistently assist them, not to mention if they FALL! Don't let the lower price tag fool you, the price is lower because you will end up doing most of the work to care for your loved one. Medication administration is an additional cost and not even done effectively. So, for hundreds of dollars more a month, you'll probably just find the pills on the floor, if they don't go missing. The list of failed attempts at quality Senior care goes on.. there just isn't enough time to list them all.
