Caring and intellectually stimulating retirement
reviewed on: 10/12/2017 by AnonymousMy mother has been at KAG for 2 1/2 years and is now transitioning to the assisted living level. She has had a great experience. They really take good care of you there. I hope to go there myself when I get that age. I can't imagine any place better. What's unique about Kendal is the quality, intellectual programming that they have. They cater to a crowd that can appreciate those kinds of activities and cultural events. Sure they have cards and game activities too, but there's so much more than the kinds of bingo-trivia-movie night activities that most senior living places have. There's a hefty down payment to get in, but there are many options including one that guarantees 90% return to one's estate at death, so don't let the sticker shock scare you. Take a tour and talk to them.
