Loved this place. My only concern is...
reviewed on: 12/24/2012 by A Place For Mom CustomerLoved this place. My only concern is that they only have 14 beds that can receive Medicaid. The Director could not guarantee a room when Mom's funds run out, which would be in nine months. She did say there was only one person waiting and all other residents have no need for Medicaid.
I Had A Good Tour Of This Community
reviewed on: 09/20/2016 by AnonymousI toured this community for my mother and her needs. From what I saw the community appeared to be well-kept. The staff I met was kind and friendly. It was a good tour, but not the community for my mother and her needs.
Decent Experience
reviewed on: 07/24/2017 by AnonymousWe used this community for their respite stay services. For the most part my father has a decent experience during his time in this community. It was an okay experience overall. He did a have a couple falls. This wasn't my first choice for my father, but it is a decent community.
Transitions
reviewed on: 03/01/2020 by TMy mother is in her late 90's and has been at Carriage Court for years. I so appreciate the compassionate staff who have helped mom and our family transition through various stages of adjustment and adaptation. Leaving her home of 65 years was not easy, but the one bedroom at Carriage Court has allowed her to be surrounded by her own furniture and favorite artwork. Her room is bright and welcoming. Her visitors are always greeted with hospitality and empathetic compassion for mom's kind spirit. As with any facility there have been many changes over the years, growth, promotions, saying goodbye to favorite caregivers. Tyler Brown has been there to support communications between management and the caregivers during daily changes in routine. The nurses are kind and compassionate, persevering through the day to day challenges to greet and care for mom with a smile. I so appreciate Tyler's most recent support, as mom transitions to needing an adjustable hospital bed. Glen and Amy in Housekeeping helped tremendously in supporting me to prepare her room for transition to Hospice care.
Seemed like a nice place

After touring some others we found one that we thought would fit better. Carriage Court was nice, the staff seemed friendly and it was clean and well kept, but it didn't have the level of activities that I thought my loved ones would enjoy.
