Community Reviews
The people are really nice and trying their best
reviewed on: 05/20/2015 by AnonymousMy loved one is still settling in. So far It's been fine. The food hasn't been that great. They should have more fresh produce and fresh food. Other than that, the people are really nice and trying their best. It has been a pretty good experience so far. We're happy. My overall rating of the Emeritus at Bassett Manor is 3 1/2 stars. The staff is very nice and friendly. The facility is clean. I'm not sure about the value yet.
Family atmosphere
reviewed on: 09/03/2020 by AnonymousMy sister in law was in the memory care unit. We chose Elderwood Willage at Bassett Park because of the availability, the location, as well as we heard some good feedback from a family member who knew someone who was here. The room sizes were smallish but adequate. I would want people to know when looking into this community that they were very helpful in explaining the process and giving a tour. They were very cooperative and it made the process easy on us. I would recommend to a friend or family member.
Wonderful Caretakers!!
reviewed on: 08/01/2017 by AnonymousMy mom has been recently placed in the memory care unit and although it is very expensive I am very pleased with how things are going for her. Her health has not been the best but I am thankful for the caretakers that have been looking after her while she is there. I am comfortable with the services they have been provided and think they are very compassionate people. Overall I have no complaints and would recommend it to anyone.
If You Want Your Loved One Well Cared For Place them at Elderwood at Bassett Park
reviewed on: 03/29/2021 by Stuart LI would tell others that the community had been helpful. My loved one has been there about a year, and enjoys it. The friendliest of the staff is a standout to me. Most of the time my loved one gets help, there are occasions where they have to call the nurses back in. The activities are limited due to the pandemic. There are some meals that my loved one doesn't care for; however, for the most part the food is decent.
Friendly, Kind Tour
reviewed on: 07/24/2017 by AnonymousI had a very nice tour of this community. My tour went very well, and everyone was friendly. The community looked very clean, and everything appeared to be well-kept. The staff I met was nice, and helpful. They answered all my questions. It was a good experience, but I did find another community that met our needs better. However this is a nice facility with kind people.
