reviewed on: 01/12/2017 by AnonymousI picked Brightview because it was not on the main road. We really like the food there and the activities. The director of the memory care, Lisa, is very nice. The place is clean, for the most part but they could use some improvement in the housekeeping. The staff are all friendly, but sometimes I see them on their phones rather than interacting with the residents and I really wish they would interact more with them. Other than that, the place has been a good fit for my loved one, and we are pleased.
A tour for care for mom

The community was nice and the meals were appealing in the menu. They offered good activities. We would recommend families to tour this community for the care of a loved one.
Brightview has been a gift to my family
reviewed on: 03/02/2015 by AnonymousThis Brightview is clean, the personnel are incredibly friendly and helpful, they keep my Dad, who is in the enhanced care unit, up and about and out of his room as much as possible. He is very lucky to be there, and we are so grateful!
A real improvement in my mother's life
reviewed on: 01/03/2015 by M ByrnesMy 87-year-old mother had been declining in assisted living in another state and needed memory care. Then she broke her hip and her choices were limited because she was in a wheelchair. Brightview Arlington has an Enhanced Care unit as part of their Memory Care so the wheelchair was not a problem and there was plenty of staff. After a month, she is starting to walk with a walker again and she is happy and engaged. She can go on outings even though she can't handle money and she gets lots of personal attention from the staff. They all know her and care about her and are really on top of any issues with her health and well-being. She's treated as an individual with dignity and we had lots of help making her apartment personal and comfortable. My sister and I see a real improvement in her outlook and abilities.

They offer activities for the residents who are wanting to join the other residents, We would recommend this community for the care and good value to other families.
