Community Reviews
A great place for mom.
reviewed on: 02/25/2018 by AnonymousRecord Street is a wonderful facility. My mom has been living here for several years. The staff is terrific. The care is excellent. The facility is clean and beautiful with no yucky nursing home vibe. It is a very pleasant place to visit.
You better think twice before placing your loved one here for their last years, days, weeks, hours!
reviewed on: 10/28/2020 by AnonymousI have waited to write this review for quite a while now. Would NOT recommend the Record Street Home (115 Record Street Frederick, MD 21701) at all. It is a very cold place. There isn't one person there I would trust. I had a very bad experience with my mother. I won't go into detail but let me just tell you that they say one thing and do another. They take EVERYTHING that your parents have worked for and offer very little sympathy when your loved one passes if they offer it at all. I know of a friend who's mother just passed recently. The activities director that they have there now has NO empathy for anyone. She (T. M) should not have the job title she has and the board should think twice about keeping this person in that position. When you do go to the board they take what you have to say very lightly. I would think twice or not even at all about placing someone you love and care for deeply in the care of these people.
