Moving Dad in
reviewed on: 10/08/2018 by PALI moved my Dad here about three weeks ago and at first he didn't want to stay. After visiting with him everyday for a couple of weeks, and him settling in, he now really likes it. He is making friends and participates in activities and loves bingo. The staff has been great, very friendly and extremely helpful. I now feel comfortable leaving him there with no worries. He wanted to be independent but have help available when he needs it. He loves the food which is prepared by a professional chef. He hasn't missed a meal yet! This is the best place for him. I would recommend it highly as a great facility. I also like that it is a small community and has a great inviting atmosphere when you walk in, and my Dad feels at home.

Oak Park Village was well worth the price tag for the care that is provided to the residents. They always had activities like bingo available and even regularly took the residents off-site for various outings. My dad liked the staff at the community very much and they all treated him very well.

I would like to see more activities with the residents
