A Great Place for Mom
reviewed on: 12/02/2020 by AnonymousThis is a great place for your loved one. The community takes care of the residents. The staff is well trained and they answer any questions I have. They truly care about my mom. The food is great for my mom now.
I would recommend the facility
reviewed on: 10/22/2020 by AnonymousMy mom seems to be getting good care here at Keelson Harbour. They have been very good about keeping us up to date about her care and accommodating visits on face-time and phone calls since I live out of town. My siblings that are there in IA are having outside visits with her. The facility has just opened back up doing haircuts for the residents and she seems to be happy.
No complaints so far
reviewed on: 10/09/2017 by Kevin KarzinI live out of state from my parents but from what I hear is they have no complaints. I was with them when they chose the community, and it was very nice, clean, and well-maintained. The staff is friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. We had very high standards for the community to meet my parent's needs and it was a good fit. They are living independently now in the community and they are familiar with the area. It is conveniently located to all of their shopping and their suitable needs. One of the reasons they chose the community is if in the future they ever need assisted living they won't have to pick up and move to another community. Also it a la carte for the care needs, you only pay for what you need, it's not all one lump sum for things you do not need.
My review of Keelson Harbour
reviewed on: 05/17/2021 by Ines HWe chose Keelson Harbour because I was hoping he could go into memory care but it did not end up that way. Another reason was I needed to be in a place that had assisted living that could help me in and out of bed. The food here is more institutional and I would prefer more homemade cooking. But the staff members are great and I would definitely recommend.
We are settling in
reviewed on: 01/09/2018 by AnonymousMy husband and I are living here in the independent living in a 1 bedroom apartment. Housekeeping comes in 1x weekly to clean. We wear life alert necklaces in case of an emergency. They try to engage us to join the daily activities. We have one meal at 12 and some days its good and some days it's not. The staff are nice and friendly. They have a shuttle to take us to Fairway or Walmart or a Dr if we need. This is a pleasant place to live and I would recommend it.
