Community Reviews
Large Variety Of Activities!!
reviewed on: 12/07/2016 by AnonymousEverything is going well for my father since his move into this community. He has adjusted very well with the help of the staff and other residents. I can't really think of any improvements they could make. He thinks the meals are great, and he is involved in a lot of activities. They also have a lot of outings which are very fun for him. Overall we would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great community.
Good Value
reviewed on: 09/18/2013 by AlfredI don't have experience with a whole lot of others but maybe I should say 5 for the value because being a non profit, they do seem to have lower prices than the other ones we saw. They have on-site doctors who have regular hours in the place so that's convenient if you need to see someone. They do have a pool, however, they don't want you swimming alone. They do have water exercises but for someone who wants to swim laps, it's not that useful. They give you two meals a day and you choose which ones. If you want a third one you pay for that. What's also nice is that if you need more care they can go up to Alzheimer's care at additional cost.
I would recommend.
reviewed on: 08/14/2020 by AnonymousWaterford did a great job keeping people protected. My dad was taken care of great while we were not able to visit with him. You have to be proactive and keep an eye on things just like any place. I would believe them when they tell you don't have to worry. They have followed through on everything they have told us they would do. The food is average.
Waterford Estates has given our family peace of mind
reviewed on: 05/26/2017 by Sharon P.My mother has been a resident of Waterford Estates for nearly 9 years. She is now 95 years old. The staff here is very friendly and genuinely care about the residents. When my mom was still able to travel, Waterford offered a bus that would take her to the drug store, grocery store, bank, etc. It gave her a sense of freedom and independence that made both of us feel better. The staff knows our family on sight and always greets us with a smile. I have peace of mind, knowing that help is near if Mom should need it.
An ok community
reviewed on: 06/22/2017 by AnonymousThis community did not appeal to me. It seemed dark and did not seem as active. The person that took me on tour was nice and seemed knowledgable.
