Don't put your parent at Bethel
reviewed on: 02/15/2021 by Ana McGaryBethel Gardens use to be a wonderful place for my mom and other moms and dads alike. They had carrying loving caregivers and almost no turnover in residents or staff. I would walk in and the staff new me by name and they loved my mom. They understood her moods and the way she liked things. If she was ill they were on the phone with me asking about her health and when she would be back if she was hospitalized. When Canopy lifestyle took over its management it became a terrible place. Virtually no communication with family. So much employee turnover you never knew who the caregiver was. Residents began to leave. I didn't move mom because I know how hard it is when seniors experience change. I wasn't able to see my mom due to Covid-19 restrictions, yet my mom caught the virus at Bethel and passed away from the virus on 2/7/21. Not one person working at Bethel or Canopy has reached out to see how she was when she was in the hospital or after she passed away. I am so disappointed in the way this once fantastic senior facility has been decimated.
The place is nice but seems...
reviewed on: 09/09/2013 by A Place For Mom CustomerThe place is nice but seems more like a nursing home according to my dad and his wife. I like it but the room is smaller than what they have now.
A Wonderful Place For Your Loved One
reviewed on: 03/25/2014 by AnonymousBethel Gardens is a wonderful place for any aging parent, spouse or sibling. All of the people are super friendly and accommodating. The facility is very clean and beautifully decorated. I've compared the price with other similar places and none of this caliber were able to beat their price. Bethel Gardens is a Christian based and family owned providing some activities for the residents. I would like to see more options for exercise in or outside the building. I have been told that that will be added soon. What impressed me the most is the attitude of the majority of the residents, who seemed very content with their circumstances. Take a tour for yourself.
