Review of Spring Hills Hunters Creek
reviewed on: 11/10/2020 by AnonymousI was particularly impressed with how this facility kept their residents safe during the recent covid-19 pandemic. Some facilities in my state had outbreaks and some residents died. Not only did SHHC keep the residents safe, they kept communication open with the families by holding weekly status called and set up ways for us to Skype with our loved ones when we could not visit.

Great place
reviewed on: 04/24/2019 by Paula BrownSpring Hills was a great place for my mom. The staff was very caring. At meals, there was a menu for residents to order what they wished - and the wonderful servers would have suggestions for what they knew my mom would like when she was stuck in grilled cheese sandwich mode. There were lots of activities each and every day, with outside speakers and performers on a regular basis. The value for what we paid was incredible - before my mom moved to Spring Hills, we had three hours of in-home care daily. It was only 50% more than that to have her at Spring Hills in a wonderful environment that she often compared to being on vacation. My mom was at Spring Hills for over four years - I generally visited a couple times a week and everything was great every time. I wholeheartedly recommend Spring Hills.
So far so good...

Quality
reviewed on: 09/19/2017 by LeslieFPlacing a family member in a residential, long-term care facility is one of the most emotionally wrenching decisions anyone ever has to make. In an ideal world, my wife and I would have have loved to keep my mother-in-law Pierrette Righter at home, even with her increasing need for professional caregiving. That unfortunately is not an option and we had to find a place that will be about as close as possible to the home where she lived and the environment that she’ll be leaving shortly. The task of finding the right place for a loved one is sad, guilt-ridden, lonely and uncertain. Unfortunately, most of us don't know what makes a place and its people right. We were fortunate to meet Regina Maimone. She listens, understands, she asks good questions without being intrusive and has shown very good understanding of our concerns. She's efficient, she is responsive and she communicates well. She was instrumental in helping us to make that very important decision of select Spring Hills to be my mother-in-law’s new home. On behalf of my wife Carole and myself I would like to compliment you on having someone of Regina’s quality to be the ambassador for Spring Hills community and ask that you please convey to Regina our heartfelt thanks and appreciation for the work she has done in making us feel good about this very difficult resolution. In closing, I hope that Regina’s warmth and caring extends to the rest of the staff as it is a very important factor for my mother-in-law’s speedy integration into the community and for us to diminish our anxiety over whether or not Pierrette will receive the love and caring that is so vital to all of us.
