Our first impressions
reviewed on: 02/12/2014 by Maria LeonMy family and I have been looking for an Assisted Living facility to placed our elderly mother. We had visited several facilities in the Central Florida area including Savanna Court in Maitland for several months. My husband and I have been visiting a friend who is a resident in your facility for nearly a year. While in your facility we were able to observed that accommodations there were very impressive. The rooms were spacious, and furnished with a full bathroom and shower, microwave oven and small refrigerator. Your dining room was very elegant and well staffed with friendly and efficient servers. We brought in our mother for a visit and we had the opportunity to eat lunch at your facility. We found that the food was well prepared and delicious. We were advised that the menu is changed daily. We chose your facility for our mom. My mother has been a resident there now for approximately 6 weeks. This is the first time she has lived outside her home and we were concerned that she would not be satisfied living there. Mom is very happy and she is really enjoying her room, the food and the many activities available there for her. Your staff conduct themselves in a very courteous, friendly and professional manner at all times. The facility is well maintained and managed. My Mom and I are delighted with your services in general. If, I may, we would like to suggest or recommend that additional Spanish speaking personnel be hired at your facility. Again, thank you kindly for your assistant and providing excellent care for my mom.
my experience at savannah court
reviewed on: 02/15/2021 by AnonymousThe staff is very friendly and upbeat. They had some activities always going on. The rooms had a very nice view and were very spacious. Just make sure that if your loved one has and disabilities they are able to get around in their space ok. I would definitely recommend this community to others
happy place
reviewed on: 02/16/2014 by AnonymousOf all the places aI toured in central Florida, this was the friendliest. The staff was more than helpful. The resident of all abilities are happy and talkative...greeting each other as they pass in the hallway. Helping each other when they see the need. One big happy family.
My experience with Savannah Court
reviewed on: 10/06/2020 by AnonymousWe chose Savannah Court because at the time, she had a dog. She wanted a secure place that she could take her dog out and they had a courtyard here. There were many things that they mislead us on once we moved in. They said they provided medical transportation, they did not tell us it was only on Tuesdays and Thursday's between 10-2 and that they wont go more than 5 miles out. They said they would take care of her medicine for her, they ordered her prescriptions from the wrong facility and are costing us a fortune, they have also lost her medicine a couple of times and ordered medications that she no longer needed. They have mold in the facility and in her room that we have found. They also told us we would take care of claims, and I have to do it myself otherwise it does not get done. They are nice people and all but they have a general lack of detail and communication and we expected more for the amount of money we pay. My mom is happy here so we have made it work for the time being.
Good Tour Of This Community
reviewed on: 09/08/2017 by AnonymousI had a nice tour of this community. Everyone was kind to my family, and I. The staff was kind, and helpful. My questions were answered. From what I saw the community appeared to be well-kept. The experience went well, but I did find another community that met our needs better overall.
