Visited 3/4. Some potential...

Nice Community!!
reviewed on: 05/17/2017 by AnonymousI have no complaints about the tour I had taken of this community for myself. All of the staff where very friendly and made sure to give me lots of great information about there community. They had a nice floor plan that was easy to navigate through as well as friendly residents. It was just not in my budget to live at this place.
Nice place overall, limited scope of care
reviewed on: 07/10/2015 by AnonymousAlthough Camellia at Deerwood is only able to provide a very limited scope of care they do an excellent job with what they DO provide. The facility itself is well kept and clean, and the staff are friendly, and the assistance they provide to the residents is good. However they are not equipped to handle any sort of high level care, and they cannot provide medication on an as-needed basis (they provide daily medications or nothing at all).
We have nothing but wonderful things to say.
reviewed on: 01/02/2014 by SonWe have nothing but wonderful things to say. It's a very nice group of people over there, they are very attentive to her, the people that live there seem to be very friendly and embracing of her, the food is good and the facility is brand new, so we are all in, we're very happy. I can't think of anywhere that they can improve I think they do everything extremely well. This one offered us the best value, certainly not the least expensive that we looked at, but the overall best value for our money. The newness of the facility, the cleanliness of the facility, the airiness of the rooms, the friendliness of the staff, the quality of the food all gave us the sense that it was the best bang for our dollar. Vis-a-vis anything that was lower in price or not paying for things my mother wasn't going use.
Very pleased!
reviewed on: 11/17/2014 by PamCrenThe move-in was smooth and easy. The staff is wonderful! The community is very clean and friendly. My husband is in the memory care unit which is new and there are only three residents so far. Because of that activities are limited but we hop e that will change soon. The staff does a great job of trying to keep him involved and busy, but he would do much better if there were more people with which he could socialize.
