Community Reviews
One of the Original Villa Members
reviewed on: 08/10/2015 by RenieI moved to Osprey Village in 2004. I had known about the community since they broke ground. We had been in Florida off and on since the 1970s- living on the Plantation. When we were trying to make this decision, we knew that we needed golf options. I wanted Amelia Island. We looked around Ponte Vedra. But nothing compared to Osprey. It is such a small community that enables you to know everybody. When we came, my husband played golf. I honestly do everything, it is hard to remember. I like bridge and involved with a bridge club that dates back 30 years on the Plantation. I also enjoy the book club. I enjoy everything and have even served on the resident advisory committee. My advice for those looking for retirement communities is that if you find a community you like, go while you are still a couple. It is important to have the built in community. There is also a great community for those who are single. As a fun fact, I was one of the first people in the villas. I moved in that morning. I am still in my original villa.
I couldn't be happier
reviewed on: 08/10/2015 by golf13bweI didn’t think I was ready to move to Osprey Village, but someone offered to buy my house. So here I am. It’s been almost 3 years and I couldn’t be happier. I love my house, my neighbors and the activities that are available to me. There is a nurse right down the street at the wellness center- which offers exercise classes 5 days a week if I so desire. Physical therapy is right across the street and there is assisted living if you need it. I don’t have to cook, clean; do yard work or house maintenance. In fact, I feel very spoiled, and I hope that feeling lasts for a long, long time.
Piece of mind
reviewed on: 01/02/2021 by Andrea CWe know that our Mom is valued and cared for at Osprey Assisted living. Covid protocols have been responsible and protective of staff and residents. Social programs directed by a highly skilled and creative staff continue to offer appropriately stimulating programming. Our family is so appreciative of these efforts.

Holiday Cheer!
reviewed on: 12/11/2020 by Mariann DahlIt's a week overdue, but we have wanted to compliment you and your team for the hospitality and graciousness you show to your residents and their families. Specifically I refer to the series of pre-Thanksgiving affairs you held on your new deck the Wednesday afternoon prior to Thanksgiving, but that is just one of many such events you hold to allow families to stay connected with their loved ones during this restrictive COVID period. Many assisted living facilities do not make this special effort, which uses your resources and is extra work for your staff. Thank you ... and please thank them for us.
