Community Reviews
I would give them a five so far, they have been very good.
reviewed on: 04/12/2016 by AnonymousThey have been very helpful and good about asking questions, and getting things taken care of once we got moved in. The food is actually quite good, and they have live entertainment, and she thinks that is good. She participates in the activities. The staff are very nice and helpful. It was more of an apartment/hotel kind of feel. I would give them a five so far, they have been very good.
Good

Lovely staff
reviewed on: 04/07/2014 by MKMy mom needed memory care so many things the Alma Via community offers were not interesting or appropriate for her. That said, the staff in the memory care unit was lovely and very helpful. My mother survived just a very short time after moving in but we felt she got tremendous attention and an outpouring of support for her and all our family. It is impossible to judge financial value. We got services that my mother really needed and we paid quite a bit for them but not more than the going rate for similar services in San Francisco. The staff at Alma Via really do seem to live their values about the dignity of each resident and were wonderful to work with.
Beautiful facility but understaffed
reviewed on: 12/14/2017 by AnonymousUnfortunately, while my Father-In-Law was at this facility it was around the time of the fires and because of that a lot of people moved in at once. My loved one is blind and he required a lot more attention than most residents and he felt like he wasn’t getting as much attention as he should. He was just upset about the care and felt like it wasn’t as they advertised. I understand though because there were a lot of new residents and they were shorthanded so it would take longer for them to get to my Father-In-Law. However, I really liked that facility. The community was beautiful and the staff was very nice. The only thing I was unhappy about is when he was sick for three days and the staff waited until it got really bad to bring him to the hospital. I would recommend this facility to other families.
