My Aunt & Uncle are settling in
reviewed on: 08/18/2017 by AnonymousWe were very fortunate that this community was on the list for my Aunt & Uncles long-term insurance. They are both still settling in and they like their 2nd story apt with the view. The community is a bit dated and does need some updates in the apt like shelving and drawers in the bathroom. Once they are completely settled in my aunt is looking forward to taking part in the activities they offer. They really enjoy going to the dining room, it's very welcoming even has flowers on the tables. And there are lots of great options on the menu to pick from. All the staff has been great in helping my Aunt and Uncle. I also like that as my Uncle's dementia progresses they have a very nice memory care unit so they will be able to stay here and not have to make any more moves.
A Revolutionary Difference!
reviewed on: 05/17/2021 by David PI've lived near this facility for twenty years and since re-opening post pandemic, I am blown away! This facility has a new management team of super heroes, a care staff that treats residents like family, and an amazing kitchen staff. We did a tour with [name removed] and were floored by the beautiful hint of Japanese decor, the game room was fully stocked, the memory care group was singing and dancing. For lunch they had a woman playing beautiful music on a piano, and everyone just looked full of life. I'm hoping my dad will love living here as much as I've enjoyed being their neighbor.
Peace of Mind
reviewed on: 01/22/2015 by MarkSuch a wonderful feeling to know the staff has everything under control, that mom is safe and almost as cared for as if she were living with me. She has her own space, yet is part of a community, and does not feel loneliness.
Minor Details

I didn't choose Greenhaven Estates partly because a lot of their activities were heavily casino or gambling games oriented which I knew was something that my mother would not be interested in. Also, my mom likes to sit out on her patio and the patio on the first floor is walled in so I thought that was not really what she would enjoy. It was really sort of minor details that made the difference.
