Very friendly staff
reviewed on: 11/08/2014 by AnonymousVery friendly staff. They do a great job keeping mom busy with social activities, more so than any other place. It's worked out real well for her. The only downfall is that they are in an older building and have some maintenance issues, but that is very minor and overall it has been a tremendously positive experience.
Great place
reviewed on: 07/27/2015 by PAula O'LearyWe moved my mother to the memory care wing here on July 10th. I have been exceptionally happy with every aspect of the facility and staff. The food is very good and nutritious with fresh vegetables and fruit regularly. The staff are compassionate and kind and treat the residents like family. I would encourage people to check this facility out before selecting one.
Would recommend this community
reviewed on: 11/23/2020 by AnonymousStacie's Chalet was offering a special at the time our loved one was moving in, and the value regarding that special was really good. However we are unsure of the overall going rate of this community. The month before COVID we were able to see the care services and the seemed good. We did not eat any meals at this community, but from the food we did see, it looked and smelled good, but another family member was able to eat there and they enjoyed the food.

Angry, disappointed and Concerned
reviewed on: 06/10/2018 by AnonymousIf I can rate a zero I would !!! Very unsafe place to work, eat, and live in. State is always there for things that should be fixed. Always understaffed and underpaid. Both MC and AL are understaffed, meaning there's only one caregiver in MC for 30 something residents. If you call in pretty much your on your own because they present to call caregivers in but never happen. No one stays to help MC and AL and half the time I see caregiver from AL jump into MC to help out. Bed bugs is a real concern, almost every resident has scabies and when management is told all they say is " oh it's the laundry soap." When the residents are removed from their rooms meaning they are placed in another clean room while they turn up their heater in their room for 2 or 3 days and wash their clothes, spray their beds, or bag the mattress but still use the same mattress. Mind you, now the other room is infested with bedbugs. It never fails and every time there's bedbugs the usual routine happens. Meals are now portion controlled like they are children I guess they need to save money. Half the time residents hate the food and don't eat because they dislike the food. I don't even want to mention patient care!! The sad part is when a resident is removed from AL and placed in MC supposedly because she's wondering. They place her in MC, remove her from her boyfriend that management was ok with when boyfriend asked managements permission, and totally remove her 2 dogs from her, management stating resident is abusing her dogs. Now resident is constantly asking for her dogs. 🙁
