Same as Melrose Gardens...loved them ...
reviewed on: 12/22/2012 by A Place For Mom CustomerSame as Melrose Gardens...loved them both.
Meh.
reviewed on: 08/03/2020 by AnonymousWhen Monah left, so did the soul of the place. Melrose Gardens is nice on the surface, but not really set up for visiting with your elders, unless it's outside. There was a big rec room that was never used except to sign paperwork to get Mom set up to move there. The TV Room was uncomfortable, TV limited, and an archaic computer. No welcoming library filled with comfy chairs, not a lot of common space. Very expensive, because it's private. The dining room was a little depressing. Nice and caring staff, in general. Mom was okay there until they had a wealthy prospect, so they doubled Mom's rent to make it unreasonable enough to move out.
A very well run and beautif...
reviewed on: 01/23/2014 by AnonymousA very well run and beautiful facility, very friendly and knowledgeable staff. We were fortunate to observe some of the residents participating in one of the many activities offered here. The rooms were just like home. It was obvious that the residents are very well taken care of. My relative was interviewed at the hospital where she was currently residing to determine if she would be a good fit for the facility. The only down side to this experience is that we were not notified directly by the Manager as to the outcome of that interview.Unfortunately we are still looking.
Personal touches from Monah...
reviewed on: 02/10/2014 by AnonymousPersonal touches from Monah...regarding getting ppl to eat. Didn't smell. Able to bring in own furniture for personal touches. Good activities board. Biggest concern was why the place overall was so quiet. No one was talking except the caregivers. Almost to quiet. Unsettling as music or noise calms ppl. Why is everyone so quiet?
A Special Community
reviewed on: 04/01/2016 by AnonymousThis is a really special community it is a wonderful place. My mother is doing very well so far and I am very pleased with all they have done for us. Very smooth transition moving into the community. The community is very neat and clean. We had a party for her and they provided all the food and it was excellent. She enjoys the music activities. I looked at a lot of places and this one was by far the best we looked at.
