Review of Solano Life House in Dixon, California
reviewed on: 08/07/2016 by Ramiro MazukaALL of the staff at Solano Life House are a very friendly and helpful group of people. Ask ANYONE for anything, and they are on it immediately. The administrator is an up-beat, positive, multi-tasking, super women, who has worked her way up through all of the positions and wants to know how all departments are functioning. The staff are working hard to make mom feel welcome. The facility is clean, basic, and simple. It is also pet friendly. This helped, as mom was able to take her parakeet. Dogs and cats are welcomed, as residents, or visitors. On my visits there, I like taking our dog as she livens up the residents, the staff, and my mom. I may be asking for too much here ... but the place could benefit from having a "house dog", a friendly, large, dog, romping around. Currently the facility is a little short staffed and the staff are stretched a little thin and harried, but still attentive. Once fully staffed, services here will be even better. Visitors are welcomed 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Someone is always there. I am glad that my mom is there, as taking care of her ourselves got too complicated and difficult.

reviewed on: 10/18/2017 by AnonymousMy Mom has adapted very well in this small community. The people who work here care deeply for the residents. I like that this live-in community is small so that is not overwhelming for the residents. I recommend this live-in facility for anyone who is looking for an assisted living facility for their loved one.
Very pleased with [name removed]'s care at your facility
reviewed on: 08/02/2019 by Budd SteersA safe, friendly home for those who need watchful care and a clean place to live. With daily exercise, games and activities they encourage families and friends to participate. We especially enjoyed the family gatherings on the holidays of July 4th, Valentine's Day, Christmas, Easter and Thanksgiving. Solano Life House was a good choice for brother John's three years in their care.
A warm, nurturing, caring, sharing environment for our loved ones
reviewed on: 02/26/2020 by Joe SteinMy neighbor, once the neighborhood welcome wagon could no longer efficiently take care of herself so the choice was made to find an assisted living environment for her. She was moved into a caring facility called Solano Life House. At first she was a little shy but the warm, caring staff embraced her from the onset and soon she was involved in the many daily SLH activities and interacting with fellow residents and dedicated staff like the neighbor I knew. Solano Life House offers a positive, nurturing environment for our loved ones, dear friends or acquaintances. I highly recommend Solano Life House. SLH understands the individualism and needs of each and every resident. They truly care. Outings, activities, celebrations, events, barbecues, music, games are just part of life at Solano Life House. Very nice rooms too!
