Review of Scottsdale Village Square
reviewed on: 07/07/2020 by Larry SchmitWe all in the [name removed] family wanted to drop you a note to say Thank You so much for all the care that you provided to our parents over these last almost-3-years. As many of you probably know, our parents loved their independence in AZ and we tried mightily to honor their wishes. In the past almost-3-years, that had become increasingly more difficult with the aging process. They were persuaded to move to Scottsdale Village Square in September 2017, where they made many friends among all the SVS staff, the poker squad and their neighbors. Still, we persisted in asking them to move closer to family, but again – their wishes were honored. With the passing of [name removed], however, it became less and less feasible for [name removed] to remain in Scottsdale. With both [name removed] and his wife being nurses, plus 2 of [name removed]'s grand-daughter's residing in the area, *plus* a great-grand-child on the way (plus 4 dogs between them all!), the decision was made to relocate [name removed] to Omaha, NE to be closer to family. We all thank you for the tremendous care you provided to our parents during their time at SVS....!
Not Enough Going On
reviewed on: 01/17/2014 by Prospective ResidentIt's very similar to Fellowship Square, where I ended up moving, but it didn't seem like there was enough going on. All of the people seemed to like it, but it was like a hotel, where you go through hallways to get to your room instead of being able to get to your room from outside.

Very nice place!
reviewed on: 09/26/2016 by AnonymousOur experience with Scottsdale Village Square has been a very good one! It's a nice looking, clean, well kept community, and the staff is friendly and professional. The biggest surprise has been the food, we weren't expecting it to be so good!

reviewed on: 05/10/2018 by D.M.I would like to commend your staff for their excellent care. Having been a former Arizona State long term care surveyor, I have spent a great deal of time traveling to and inspecting facilities and records for LTC facilities around Arizona. Your team were not only kind and respectful to my mother, they treated her with the same care and respect typically reserved for members of ones own families.
